Let’s Go Green
I am all for going green. I love our planet earth, and I like doing little things that make me feel a part of something bigger. But, if it was 104 degrees outside and I had to go to work for a full nine hour day, I don’t think I would be all for the air conditioning being turned down.
Shanghai workers were told that on Fridays they could wear shorts and t-shirts calling it “cool dress day” to be a part of an energy saving campaign. Cool right? Yes, but the thing is they are also going to be turning down the air. Is that spin? Giving people something that is looked at as a benefit for press reasons, but taking something else away to negate that?
