@bradmarley Brad, I love that you use the word "investment." The writer AND reader have to both feel invested. Of course, that's the theory of content marketing to begin with, fomenting useful conversation.

Thanks for reading.

I love the idea of holding in your mind and presenting both sides of the argument Jill. I believe doing so molds you into a truly compassionate person. It directly coincides with the common sense practice of getting into the conversation your reader is already having with themselves.

One way I think anyone can cultivate the ability to do this by holding on tightly - 50% at most - to the belief that there is no "right" and "wrong". There's only perspective. And the best we can have is a partial perspective.

Openness and flexibility are indeed attractive traits is us humans.

Good points, Jill.

There is certainly a time and a place for shorter bursts of information. But getting the reader invested in your story is a great way to get them invested in your company, as a whole.

I'm going to think about this the next time I sit down to tell a story for my client.

1) I prefer stale doughnuts over yogurt any day of the week. Especially if there are sprinkles involved.
2) If you put the word "War" in your title, people will watch it. Even if its a storage unit auction.
3) This is probably one of the better posts I've read on creating fun content in a long while.
