2011 Spin Sucks #FollowFriday Recommendations

By: Gini Dietrich | December 30, 2011 |

Woo hoo! It’s the last #FollowFriday of the year.

Last week I listed the January through June #FollowFriday friends.

Today I’m listing the July through December recommendations.

Actually, I don’t know that Shrek started July off (though it would be easy for me to figure out). I just divided the list in half so last week there were 22 and this week there were 21.

That’s all the math there is to it, but it should divide pretty equally.

With that nonsense, here they are.

  1. Michael Schechter can be found on Twitter and blogging at A Better Mess.
  2. Margie Clayman can be found on Twitter and blogging at Social Media, Marketing, & Musings.
  3. Patti Knight can be found on Twitter.
  4. Jason Konopinski can be found on Twitter and blogging at Write. Think. Do.
  5. Christina Pappas can be found on Twitter and blogging at The Content Cocktail.
  6. Tony Gnau can be found on Twitter and blogging at T60 Productions.
  7. Claudia Anderson Scimeca can be found on Twitter and blogging at Social Media DDS.
  8. Bridget Spence can be found on Twitter and blogging at My Big Girl Pants.
  9. Nancy Davis can be foundon Twitter and blogging at Nancy A. Davis.
  10. Molli Megasko can be found on Twitter and blogging at Spin Sucks.
  11. Michelle Olson can be found on Twitter and blogging at Depth in PR.
  12. Neicole Crepeau can be found on Twitter and blogging at coherent social media.
  13. Joe Hackman can be found on Twitter and blogging at Joe’s Gone Social.
  14. Howie Goldfarb can be found on Twitter and blogging at Sky Pulse Media.
  15. Pete the Tapeworm can be found on Twitter.
  16. Lindsay Bell can be found on Twitter and blogging at Communication in a Digital World.
  17. Ken Mueller can be found on Twitter and blogging at inkling media.
  18. Tinu Abayomi-Paul can be found on Twitter and blogging at Free Traffic Tips.
  19. Steve Farnsworth can be found on Twitter and blogging at The Steveology Blog.
  20. Bryan Willmert can be found on Twitter and blogging at edooce.
  21. Ken Jacobs can be found on Twitter and blogging at Ken’s Views.

And, to make things easy for you, the full list of 43 people can be found on Twitter and a Google Reader bundle (with one caveat: Not all blogs are RSS feed ready).

Have a safe and happy New Year!

I shamelessly stole the image from Jay Dolan. Let’s see if he notices.

Thanks Gin, this list was very helpful and it sure made it easy to check out some other terrific writers/bloggers. I'm new to your posts, reading through your previous posts I'm hooked! I look forward to following/reading them in 2012 and beyond! Keep up the good work and thanks again for sharing. John.

I remember when Gini texted me asking me where my post about Douglas was on my blog. I didn't think much of it until I saw the pingback. Then I said "Holy Sh*t!" and I laughed and cried a little. I was just so stunned.

That was a few weeks after my birthday and that was the 3rd largest day of traffic on my blog. I follow almost everyone on this list. I was just happy I got cake since Gini had been promising me cake for so long!

I love reading Michael Schechter, Margie Clayman and Nancy Davis. Luckily found Neicole Crepeau and Ken Mueller here. Have recently come to know Claudia Anderson and have read Lindsay Bell too. Whew!

Many of the others I've either followed or will be. So this is more work, but if Gini says so ... :)

Also, I have obviously seen both Howie Goldfarb (a most prolific commenter) and Jason Konopinski (another commenting extraordinaire) so will have to check out their blogs. These guys are smart like that :)

Ah, I get to relive one of the best things to happen to me in 2011.

Thanks, Gini-San :)

@margieclayman I remember that Friday when I was the #FF feature. My inbox was going bonkers with all the new follower notifications. Talk about an ego boost! :)

@jasonkonopinski An ego boost...or a "Dang it, Gini! What did you do to me?"
