As the LONE, and I do mean LONE, blogger of EveryDayPR.net, I’ve been out of pocket several times in the past year. Here’s how I handled the absence: Whether I pre-wrote and scheduled posts or used a guest blogger, the WordPress technology took care of the rest. I just scheduled posts on my regular blog distribution days, and no one was the wiser. The only downside is the exchange and/or feedback element. If I don’t have access to a computer (literally or connection wise), I’ve yet to figure out a way to continue that part of the process. As I’ll be out of pocket part of August, any and all ideas to address that are welcome. Good and informative post!
P.S. I am available for guest blogging -:)

Gini – this is the first video post of yours that I’ve seen, and I love it! Also, I agree with your recommendations about bloggers going on vacation. I recently did a guest post for someone who went out of town, and she had a different guest blogger each day of that week.

Gini — thanks for answering my question and good suggestions. http://www.HMATime.com is our agency’s blog so fortunately for me, I have a few other folks that also post to the site. But I do like the idea of pre-writing a few things so that I can still be a participant on the site even if I’m out of the country (Caribbean cruise and it can’t come soon enough!).

As for the video while you ride, let me think about that one for a bit, I’ll get back to you.
