Current TV: Ruling Our Nation?

OK, so I know enough is enough, but I must talk about Current TV.  After almost ruling our nation, and inventing the internet, he is now tackling another huge medium, television. 

After visiting the Web site to see what the hype was all about, (because right now whatever Gore says becomes hype), it seems pretty neat.  He is taking social media to the next level.

viewer-created content”.  You upload your own video, anything from a commercial to a TV show, and the “community” decides if it should go on air or not.  Wikinews stated that it is treating it’s audience not like viewers but as collaborators; participants if you will.

Will it succeed this time aroundWill it help stop spinOr create more of it?

I think the powers could be used for good, if the target audience of 18 to 34 year olds takes the time.  Me participate?  Well, not so much.  I think it’s a great idea and I can see some people getting real into it.  But let’s get real, it seems like a voting system, and come on Mr. Gore, we all know voting systems are rigged, right? — Molli Megasko
