We have a new colleague! One Yvette Pistorio!

Some of you may already know Yvette, as she was at Cision for many years and, most recently, served as community and social media manager for them.

And now she joins us to take her skills and apply them to clients. Not only does she have social media expertise, but she knows how the digital web translates to warm leads in order to cultivate new customers.

Most exciting for each of you, she’ll begin managing the Spin Sucks Twitter account, you’ll see her on our Facebook page, and managing our LinkedIn page. She’ll also be blogging here a couple of times a month.

On the personal side of things, Yvette lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where she and her husband just bought a darling little house. AND they’re getting a new puppy – a Wheaton Terrier! They get to visit her at the end of August and take her home next month, increasing the Arment Dietrich dog family.

I initially met Yvette when she was charged with connecting, and engaging, with PR influencers. She did her job so well, I never felt like she was pitching me, selling me, or trying to get me to do something I didn’t want to do.

She developed the relationship very carefully, read the blog, and discovered areas where I might be able to help all of you through some of the things Cision offers. Of course, because I often get frustrated with my peers on how they pitch media and bloggers, I was always impressed by this.

And now she brings that expertise here where you’ll get to learn from her.

There are a gazillion ways you can find her online (she might even rival me). You can find her on Twitter (Spin Sucks and personal), Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+, and here. Follow her, introduce yourself, and get to know her!
