You know how I say I’m an introvert and all of you exclaim, “No way!”?
Well, today is very apparent I am introvert. I haven’t had more than three hours of sleep since Sunday night. I spoke yesterday morning, attended the conference, had dinner with my fellow speakers and the conference sponsors, and then I thought for sure I’d hit the wall.
Nope. Super bad jet lag. Still.
So I’m very much looking forward to being home in my own bed and getting out on my bike tomorrow. I need it.
Please let me sleep tonight. Please let me sleep tonight. Please let me sleep tonight.
I did, however, manage to find some very good videos (with some help from my friends and Mr. D) for you. Have fun!
2. Will Ferrell announces Anchorman 2. Will Ferrell makes a surprise appearance on Conan to the sequel. If this doesn’t get you excited for a sequel, I don’t know what will. (Thanks Molli Megasko!)
1. Elephant Plays with Galaxy Note. It was 3 a.m. the other night and I was emailing Mr. D about how miserable I was. He sent me a link and said, ‘This will cheer you up.” And it did. I want one (the elephant, not the phone)!
Have a great weekend!

Yes, I laughed (Ron Burgundy!) I cried (for the 4th time - that poor little puppy, I can't stand it!) and I just love how you can recap a week of video in one neat little post while on NO sleep! I have no idea how you do it, Ms Gini, but thanks for all these amazing posts!
@NancyCawleyJean I have a secret...I had collected the links throughout the week. If I'd had to do it from the London airport on their crappy WiFi, I would have had a nervous breakdown. When I boarded the plane from London to Boston, they told me they were oversold and they had to check my bag. I started to cry. I never cry. But that tells you how tired I was.
This is all around awesomeness. On all fronts. Look'e'there @ginidietrich , you did something and did it really really well. This is resume material if I've ever seen it. #ginidoesntneedaresumeryan lol
@Lisa Gerber Ha! Didn't we learn anything from Friends? Between the orphaned ducklings and Bailey, I have my hands plenty full. ;) @ginidietrich@Erin F.
@ginidietrich@Erin F.@jasonkonopinski DId I ever tell you in the last house we owned, our neighbor had a monkey!!!! It FREAKED ME OUT!!! Get a monkey if you want to freak out your neighbors.
Guess what I discovered? Hutto, a small town north of Austin, is the hippo capital of Texas. I'm so going to tromp around the town and take photos of as many hippos as I can.
@ginidietrich I might be planning an excursion to Hutto this weekend so that I can take photos. I want to get some film so that I can use my nice, yet old-school, camera. I'll try not to let your sister-in-law see the final photos. ;)
I've seen a lot of animal rescue stories, but the blind dog one absolutely takes the cake. It really makes you appreciate what these organizations do for our four-legged friends on a daily basis.
