Scheduling Your Feedburner Delivery

It’s time for the video question of the week and this one comes from Abbie Fink who asks what time of day is best for scheduling your Feedburner delivery. Also a shout out to Shelly Gibbens and Pat Lamb for two very cool things they’re doing with their businesses.

Have you seen other kinds of results from changing the timing of your Feedburner delivery?

Gini -- thanks for taking another one of my questions as part of your video blog. Yes, I do read most of my blog subscriptions at night, that's when I can focus on them. However, I follow many of the bloggers on twitter as well so if I'm seeing that they're pushing out their content during the day, I'll likely pop over to the blog and check it out then.

Gini:

How do you think the guest bloggers have impacted your number of hits? What were your goals in adding guest bloggers?

Rob

Hey Rob! Our traffic goals for the summer months were what we hit in July. So we had to revise our goals because traffic doubled from June to July (we launched the guest posts on July 7). We thought doubling our traffic in three months was pretty aggressive. Now we know it was ultra conservative and we're looking at doubling each month now.
