On 5/20/09 I shared The Webb MD article reporting the possible health benefits of drinking coffee. The report shared studies showing coffee could lower your risk of diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and colon cancer. The report also states coffee can lift your mood, treat headaches and lower the risk of cavities.
After reading the article I was surprised when I searched a couple coffee company Web sites to find neither of them shared the possible health benefits of that delicious cup of Joe! I couldn’t help wondering which coffee company would be the first and this morning I received an answer to my question.
It is difficult not to become outraged when reading the article reporting that John Thain; CEO at Merrill Lynch spent $1.2 million to lavishly decorate his office early last year while the firm was fighting to survive and that he also doled out executive bonuses a month ahead of schedule; days before the struggling Merrill Lynch firm was acquired by Bank of America.

The United States recently experienced a historical election that captivated the entire nation. Barak Obama was elected as our next commander and chief. It was hard not to get swept into the candidate debates, the many news stories and various opinions. Both sides spoke passionately of their plans for the current ailing economy and I personally was undecided to the bitter end.

Our firm has experienced growth and will be expanding in the next few months. I was asked to contact current vendors to inquire as to the terms of our current contract, as well as a buy-out figure. Most vendors were helpful and seemed to want to retain our business. There is always an exception and in this case it was with Global-com Web site.
