Before November when you heard the name Michael Phelps you were reminded of a 14-time Olympic gold medal winner. Unfortunately, since November many would be reminded of the picture of him smoking from a bong at a party article.
What surprises me is that he didn’t think a picture might surface especially with all the camera phones available. I admire Mr. Phelps for owning up to his mistake and apologizing for his behavior but was not surprised to hear that Kellogg is not pursuing a new contract with him as a corn flakes spokesman. Mr. Phelps did not make a wise decision at the party but he paid for his decision.
