Gregg, that’s a great point and one that needs to be called out again. The fact that the audience on Facebook is already there, why direct them somewhere else? Great insight, and I’m not just saying that because your buttering me up to win our Arment Dietrich Facebook Fan of the Week.

Well done Molli. We've been playing around with ideas to make our page more interactive rather than just spew out content and hope people read it - so be on the lookout for some fun stuff from The Teeth.

I think another important aspect as to why this can be useful is that people are already on Facebook so rather than have them click away (as harmless as that sounds) you give them a way to connect with your brand right in that same page they are already on.

Molli - I love the "don't build it and wait for them to come" philosophy! The one thing I would add is getting everyone at your company involved in your fan page! We know that we have better success with the Arment Dietrich fan page when many of us connect and engage.
