The Spin Sucks Implementation Team is the internal consulting arm of the PESO Model©. We partner with client organizations to implement integrated, measurable marketing and communications strategies that align with business objectives and deliver results. Our team is made up of strategic leaders, systems thinkers, and change agents who bring the PESO Model to life across enterprises.

This is a senior, strategic role responsible for leading the implementation of the PESO Model across enterprise client engagements. The Director serves as the primary client lead, translating business goals into integrated communications strategies, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving measurable business outcomes. This position requires proven experience in integrated strategy, change management, and client leadership, not just tactical execution. This role directly influences how organizations adopt the PESO Model to drive measurable outcomes and integrated excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client lead for assigned PESO Model implementation engagements
  • Lead PESO Model implementation strategy for assigned clients, translating business goals into integrated communications plans
  • Facilitate collaboration across client departments (marketing, communications, brand, digital, etc.) to support implementation
  • Manage and grow client relationships, serving as the trusted senior contact
  • Typically manage one brand within one enterprise client, ensuring high-touch, strategic engagement.
  • Oversee campaign client planning and execution across paid, earned, shared, and owned media channels
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables
  • Align content and performance strategies to achieve measurable business results
  • Drive operational efficiency and maintain profitability across client engagements
  • Identify growth opportunities and lead client renewals and upsells
  • Ensure programs meet PESO Model standards and drive measurable business results
  • Review and refine implementation roadmaps, governance models, maturity assessmentts, and measurement plans
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, gaps, or misalignments in PESO adoption and implementation
  • Mentor and support Account Managers to ensure excellence in delivery and client experience
  • Maintain current PESO Model expertise through continuous learning, including regular engagement with the Spin Sucks blog and community

Required Qualifications: 

Applications without all listed qualifications will not be considered.

  • Minimum 10 years in integrated communications, public relations, or marketing strategy roles (must include client-facing experience at a senior level) and 5+ years leading cross-functional programs with measurable business results across PESO channels
  • Proven ability to design and lead communications programs that:
    • Accelerate revenue or lead generation
    • Influence domain authority/search performance
    • Shorten sales cycles
    • Improve stakeholder engagement and retention
  • Strong strategic planning, executive reporting, and measurement expertise (e.g., KPI frameworks, content performance dashboards, attribution modeling)
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops, executive briefings, and change management sessions
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Moz, GenAI content tools, content calendars, and dashboards
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills and executive presence
  • Strong understanding of the PESO Model framework and how to apply it in various organizational settings
  • High proficiency in strategic planning, performance measurement, and stakeholder alignment

This Role Is Not a Fit If: 

  • You’ve never led a communications or marketing program from strategy through execution
  • You’re looking for a tactical content, PR, or project management role
  • You are uncomfortable with client-facing, executive-level strategic consulting
  • You’re not fluent in analytics, KPIs, and demonstrating business impact

Reporting Line: Reports to Chief Integration Officer

Location: Remote, with periodic travel for client engagements and team offsites

Certification Requirement: Candidates with an active PESO Model Certification© are preferred
