I realized last night that today is the first Friday of the month, which typically means it’s book review time.

But, um, well…I forgot. And I promised Erika Napoletano I would do a review of “The Power of Unpopular” the week it comes out (March 20) so we’ll substitute the March review then.

Sound good?

Great!

In that case, I’d like to introduce you to Adam Justice, otherwise known as etelligence.

Adam is, hands down, one of the smartest search and web developers I know. In fact, every time he writes a blog post for us here or content for Spin Sucks Pro, Lisa Gerber and I both say, “Dang! So smart!”

He writes for Yahoo! about technology, which is one of those beasts I tried to figure out a couple of years ago and never did. But he clearly has because he’s a featured writer for them.

He has a couple of websites and blogs (you can find him writing about social media at adamjustice.me and about technology and the web at adam-justice.com), but the main reason I’m featuring him today is because he just launched Social Media Sun and it’s something everyone should check out.

Never mind the fact the design is GORGEOUS (makes you want to hang out there all day long), it looks to be a really good site for everything surrounding social media.

From the site:

Social Media Sun knows social media. We understand privacy settings, marketing practices, stats and analytics, hash tags, meta tags and net lag. We know which button made the text on your screen too big, and we know how to write a blog post that will index in search. We don’t know everything, but we have a large network of friends who fill that gap with their experience and expertise. They’re here to help you too. So as you navigate the Internet under the banner of web 2.0 and social media, remember where to come. When it comes to social media, we’re everything under the sun.

Before you explore Social Media Sun, though, check out the New Here? blog post.

He has must reads for new visitors, he makes it easy to subscribe to the blog, and he even has a Facebook group dedicated to further discussion about the blog topics at hand.

So check him out. You’re sure to learn something. I know I do.
