Today’s #FollowFriday is a little bit different in that it’s not a person. PR Breakfast Club (#PRBC) is a collaboration of industry professionals. They claim the blog to be a “hashtag, a conversation, a group of flaks who are on Twitter, a chance to vent, to catch up with friends near and far, and to start the day off right.”

Started by TJ Dietderich (who I could be related to for not the extra “de” in her last name), Christina KhouryJennifer Musico, CT Michaels, Patrick Dixon (miss you, Patrick!), Keith Trivitt, and Peter Cognoscenti, it has evolved into a blog full of some names you’d recognize (Danny Brown and Elizabeth Sosnow, for instance) and some really smart up-and-comers.

A little bit snark, a little bit humorous, and a lot of smart, PR Breakfast Club covers everything from conferences and media relations to social media and analytics, there is something for every communication professional, no matter your level.

If you’re not in the PR industry, but work with communications professionals or even hire them, I encourage you to check out PR Breakfast Club for the education, alone. Because, the smarter you are about the professionals you hire, the better results you are able to get…PR included.
