Gin and Topics: Watch Jon Cena as a Ripped Valley Girl

Gin and TopicsOh my gosh. I am so happy it’s Friday.

Laura Petrolino has been on vacation all week AND she’s been out of the country so I couldn’t text her.

Every time something funny happened this week—like when a client told me she doesn’t believe Laura is bossy—I couldn’t tell her.

This is serious business.

Now I’m the only person who thinks I’m funny. She’s not here to laugh with me.

And what about the client who thinks Laura isn’t bossy?

It’s not fun to make fun of her when she’s not here.

I AM GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWALS!

I mean.

I haven’t missed her at all. We can only hope she stays on her island, kissing stingrays.

We don’t need no stinkin’ Laura!

Because she’s on vacation and we don’t miss her at all, she did not contribute to Gin and Topics.

However, Susan Cellura, my momma, and I did.

Without Further Ado…Gin and Topics

5. Chick-Fil-A Love Song/Dance. You know you’ve hit the big time when high school students are dancing to a love song they made up about your restaurant—dressed in cow costumes. “I could eat there seven times a day. Oh, I’m in love with Chick-Fil-A.”

4. Nailed It! Netflix is taking on The Food Network with their premiere of “Nailed It!” How many times have you seen something on Pinterest and thought, “Yep. Can totally do that!” and then it doesn’t work out quite like that? Just me? I don’t think so! You don’t get any more real life than this.

3 .“Ew!” with John Cena. I have to say, John Cena makes a pretty girl…muscles and all. He also does Valley Girl really well. But nothing compares as when he picks up “Sara” and swings her around.

2. Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts with Gordon Ramsay. As communicators, the first question Gordon Ramsey asks James Corden is amazing. Which product does he endorse that he does not use? This is influencer marketing at its finest.

1. Jennifer Lawrence Explains Her Drunk Alter Ego. OMG. Just when you think you can’t love Jennifer Lawrence any more, she goes on Ellen and does this interview. My favorite is when she gets up and runs away…and she’s missing a shoe. You’ll see.

Send it to us!

The best place to send it is in the Spin Sucks community, but you can also email, text, private message, or carrier pigeon it to us. I’m told carrier pigeons are extinct so perhaps we can try the Pony Express?

Whatever works for you. Send it to me!

Have a great weekend!
