We have this internal joke about the snowblower David Jackson bought a few weeks ago.
He moaned and complained about how much it cost (I mean, he lives in Chicago…it’s a great investment).
So we helped him see the value of it by showing him how much he’d spend if he still had the kid down the street shoveling every time it snows.
He’s down to $200 left to make up his investment—and it’s supposed to snow three times next week.
He just needs snow eight more times this season and it’s paid off!
We joke because this winter has been absolutely relentless.
I LOVE winter and even I’m over it.
The only thing we can do at this point is laugh about it.
