The 9/11 10 year anniversary is this weekend and, I don’t know about you, but it’s really hard to watch the images of the World Trade Center crumbling over and over and over again.

It’s understandable to want to make a big deal about this milestone, but watching the footage puts me right back in the Nebraska cornfields where I was that morning, getting ready for a media tour, as if it were yesterday.

I know there have been some threats, and I’m a little nervous to go to Soldier Field on Sunday (da Bears!), but I keep thinking that a terrorist attack ON the anniversary makes no sense. They have to know we’re on high alert. Maybe that’s naive, but that’s what I think.
