I was thinking about who would be this week’s #FollowFriday and Claudia Scimeca kept popping into my brain.
Dismissing the thought because SURELY I’d already highlighted my dear friend, she made another appearance in my brain. So I thought I should double-check myself.
Turns out I have NOT gushed on and on about her here. And shame on me! She is, hands down, one of my most favorite people on earth.
Claudia, or doctor to you, is a dentist. And a dentist who does social media really well. So well, in fact, that she is speaking at the American Association for Oral Mexillofacial Surgeons (say, what?) next spring.
She really gets word-of-mouth and using the social tools to generate interest in her practice. Something I’m quite sure other dental practice owners would love to learn more about.
But that’s not why I love her. I love her because she is extremely supportive of me, she loves the relationship I have with my mom, and might very well be the kindest person on earth.
Oh wait. This isn’t all about me? Shoot.
OK. She really is the kindest person on earth. She gets excited over the tiny joys in life. She has a fantastic husband (Tony Scimeca). She is brave. She is not risk-adverse. She’s an entrepreneur. And she’s wise beyond her years.
You may not think you have any reason to follow a dentist or read her blog. After all, most of us hate going to the dentist (except for me because I have perfect teeth). But I think you’ll be surprised. She has a ton to offer anyone who is navigating the social media world.
