Ahhhh. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The book tour is nearly finished!

I had a great time in Detroit, though. Through Social Media Club and Ford, Nikki Little, Mike McClure, and Scott Monty really took care of me. I got to put some faces to Twitter handles and met some really fun new people.

But, I had to write my hotel room number on my hand on Wednesday night because I tried to go into the hotel room number from Tuesday night. So I’m happy to be home!

And I’m happy that last week’s Gin and Topics compelled a whole bunch of you to send in articles, photos, and videos. This is a good one!

5. A Conversation with my 12-Year-Old Self. Some of you may have already seen this because Jack Steiner posted it in the comments of last week’s Gin and Topics (against the rules!), but if you haven’t, it’s worth checking out. It’s 32-year-old Jeremiah asking his younger self what he wanted to be when he grew up. Pretty powerful. And thank you to Rebecca Amy Todd for following the rules and sending it to me the appropriate way.

4. Batman Meets the Riddler. In honor of The Dark Knight premiering and Ifdy Perez’s excitement, this is Batman meeting the Riddler. It’s not what you expect…and it’s really freaking funny (and a little painful because Batman is so dumb).

3. Justin Beiber Fan. Alright, Ryan Cox, this is a good introduction for you to Gin and Topics. This video is an overly attached girlfriend singing new lyrics to “If I Were Your Boyfriend” by Justin Beiber. It’s strangely hilarious.

2. The Muppets: Bohemian Rhapsody. I love the Muppets. I love Queen. Why not put them together? With Animal and all! Thanks to Jason Konopinski for the find!

1. Chimp Adopted by Bull Mastif. Not a video, but I can’t help but include images of a chimp adopted by a bull mastif. This might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen (thanks to Mr. D). I want one! You have to flip through the images to see how it all came about (and see both animals as babies).

Happy weekend, all!
