Guidelines for Working with Guest Bloggers
Chris-Tia Tgin Donaldson asks Gini Dietrich on the Arment Dietrich Facebook question of the week, “What are your guidelines for working with guest bloggers? Do you still invite them to write? Do they mainly approach you? Do you require exclusivity for some period of time?”
What we do/require is in my answer below (or click here from your reader).
What are your guidelines?

What a gorgeous painting, Gini. I love that you have that reminder of your grandpa every day.
And that reminds me - I have to get up off my butt and do my SS guest post because YES, I was asked. :)
I also seriously have to stop thinking about posts and start WRITING them. I kid you not, I had a "guest blogging" post in my head and then I saw this. Aaargh! Though now, I have more great content to add to my post, thanks to you.
@Shonali @ginidietrich Absolutely and I couldn't be happier. After the beat down I feel we have taken the last couple of years, I'm almost giddy.....). 2011 is going to be a great year.
@Shonali @ginidietrich And I was so ready to have the bestest blog ever.........this payin' gig I have seems to be taking up a lot of my time lately. Actually, I couldn't be happier with work and it feels like we are finally gaining some traction. But you just wait, it Mr blog will blow your socks off...............maybe............:).
How hard do you think the turf will be at Soldier Field; can you say ouch? Green Bay just thought they had frozen tundra.
I'll be back.............
@Shonali @bdorman264 That's OK. I'm sure Bill won't see this until tomorrow so you have until Saturday to beat him!
@ginidietrich @bdorman264 LOLOL! No fair, Gini! You will get a NOT made-up, ridiculous Shonali if I send you anything right now!
@Shonali @bdorman264 Oh Bill! I'm accepting blog posts RIGHT NOW if you want to beat her!
@ginidietrich Woohoo! @bdorman264 and anyone else who's listening, I will KNOCK YOU OFF if you try to get ahead of me. :p
@Shonali You see that list? It's my GET A BLOG POST FROM HER NOW list. You're on the top!
I want to be a guest blogger................please oh please ask me............you knocked me out when I found out one of the requirements would be 'commenting intelligently'. I will guest blog someday and it will be prophetic, enlightening and just downright awesome; maybe a spot on Larry King.....what, no more Larry King.......dang.
Nice painting and it's great you can keep the connection and prominently display it; that's pretty cool and that is all I will say about that.
Da Bears.....................
Bill
Always nice to see you in video Gini...or anywhere for that matter. Love your Grandpa's painting, :-)
When my folks moved I found a still life done by my late Uncle Ben in their basement which I took (my late grandmother's brother) who was a French Canadian living in Montreal and skied until he was 90. I asked him when he was 88 if he still skied Black Diamonds thinking he would say no, and he looked at me and said 'Of Course! Just not as fast anymore!'
@ginidietrich @HowieG @patrickreyes @abbief yes I am and I'm hoping to visit that kitchen soon!
@HowieG @patrickreyes You know what's funny? @abbief is the Mayor of my kitchen!
@patrickreyes @ginidietrich what was on the menu? I bet there was lots of ketchup ;-)
