It’s Facebook question of the week time !

I’m coming to you from LA (again) today, but I recorded the video before I left, which is why you’ll recognize the background.

It’s a QR code day, with questions coming from both Deb Evans and Jon Buscall.

Deb asks:

Facebook question for you: What’s the best way we could use QR codes for business as a service provider?

And Jon asks:

Hey Gini, How useful do you find QR codes in email marketing? I see you include one in your Arment Dietrich newsletter. How are you using it, other than driving people back to your Facebook page? And more importantly, are there are any real world takeaways for other businesses new to online marketing?

I answer both of the questions in the video below (if you can’t see it in your RSS feed, click here and it’ll magically appear).

The photo above is the one I mention in the video so you’ll soon understand its significance.

Also, last week I spoke at a client event and one of the QR codes examples we discussed was a dog food company that has a billboard in the Washington D.C. subway stations.

When you check in on Foursquare and scan their QR code, a free sample of their dog food comes out of the wall.

Pretty freaking cool.

What about you? Are you seeing cool examples of QR codes?

Before you go, don’t forget to head over to Facebook and ask a question on the wall! We’re thinking about some new and interesting ways to highlight the people who ask questions so you will get to be included in that, as well!
